Participated in an online food education event about fish with my 5-year-old! 🐟
After learning how fish grow and what they look like inside, we got to touch a freshly filleted fish!
"It's so jiggly! Which part is this?!" they said, full of curiosity.
At the end, we enjoyed eating the fish while feeling grateful for its life. Thank you for such a wonderful hands-on learning experience! ✨

Today’s school lunch was a special "Summer Festival Lunch"!
To make it even more enjoyable, our lead teacher surprised everyone by dressing up as a yakisoba vendor! 👏
The children’s reactions were beyond our expectations—their eyes lit up as they shouted, "It’s a real yakisoba shop!" ✨
It was such a big hit that they even did a "special house call" to the next class! (lol)
Just changing up the presentation a bit turns lunch into an engaging food education experience that boosts their desire to eat♪

Our theme for this year's training is "Exploring Materials."
For our first session, we took on the challenge of making two-layered colored water!
Without any hints provided, the teachers had to think, experiment, and figure it out on their own.
"Why do the layers stay separate?"
By looking at the material through the children's eyes, we made so many new discoveries.
To spark children's curiosity and make them want to try things out, we as teachers need to enjoy exploring first.
Our journey of learning and challenge continues! ✨✨

The children love using their little fingers to snap the pieces together with a satisfying "click!" ♩
When they accidentally create a unique shape, they show it to us with a big, bright "I did it!" smile. 😊
It is also incredibly sweet to see them reach out and hand a block to the teachers, asking, "Help me do it!"

Even with a mix of Japanese and English, the kids always seem to understand each other perfectly.🙌
It warms my heart every day to see them connecting from the heart, completely forgetting about any language barriers.🥰
